Picture this!

I thought I'd share some of my latest picture & print finds.  Great retro prints are hard to find but when I do, some of them put an enormous smile of my face.  See some of the pics below.  The poodles have got to be my favourite!  These will all be coming with me to the upcoming vintage furniture fairs in the next few weeks.  Have a look here for the dates for your diary.

This one is an actual furry 3d poodle on a blanket on canvas!

Now, I look like I have a real liking for poodles! But I could not resist this one this morning.  It follows you around the room! Note the 2nd and 3rd picture, he does move (honest!)

It's fairly rare to find these now but I had a lucky morning and found this print by Tretchikoff.  It still has the original frame too!

A sweet little Deer.... flowers and a horse scene..

 And a more traditional blue print... lovely.

1970s swimwear

High waisted bikinis; what a god send!  I've just listed a selection of swimwear.  They're all new old stock so they're original 1970s pieces, all unworn.  The bras are structured and the bottoms are high waisted.  They look fab on.  Have a peek at the pics below.  There's no reason we can't all look this fab!

Duo of vintage clothing fairs this weekend.....

Fair update! 2 great fairs this weekend.  I'm looking forward to both and hoping I get a chance for a bit of a shop around myself.  First up is antique vs. vintage - one hall for antique and one for vintage! I think it's a great new idea for a vintage fair.  It means they'll be something for everyone.  I love antiquing as much as I love a bit of the 1970s.

On Sunday we head to Balham for a brand new event at the BBC... that's the Balham Bowls Club!  The debut event is completely free entry so there's no excuse.  They're also lining up what looks like amazing entertainment... have a peek at the flyers below.  Hopefully catch you there!

Latest finds

I took advantage of not working last weekend to get out and find lots of great new stuff.  With some furniture & homeware fairs coming up I'm stocking up!  Here are just some of the items I found this weekend....

Southbank & whats coming up...

Well it was a busy weekend at Vintage @ Southbank.  A hot one too!  Scroll down for a picture of me in my floppy hat.  This was taken on the 3rd day by which time I was worn out by the heat and the long days!

So, what's coming up in the next few weeks.... well I have just updated the list of events on the website.  In the coming weeks we have events in Balham, Crouch End, Spitalfields and Bethnal Green.  I will be venturing outside London in September & October so keep checking back for further dates.

I'll also be launching a facebook page so we can post our latest stock pictures.  I'll let you know as soon as that's up and running.
